Scott Judson
Scott Judson is a recognized expert in energy efficiency, with more than 30 years of experience developing and evaluating energy efficiency and distributed generation projects for commercial, institutional and industrial customers.
Scott led NORESCO’s Measurement & Verification (M&V) team for more than 20 years, managing NORESCO’s Federal and Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) portfolio as it grew to $3 Billion in savings guarantees. He also led NORESCO’s Technology Solutions team, developing and deploying technology to support NORESCO’s energy engineers and M&V specialists. This included in-house development of web-based platforms for data analysis and visualization, as well working with vendors to integrate their products and services into the organization.
Scott served in energy engineering roles at several energy services companies and consulting engineering in the decade prior to joining NORESCO and has been an integral part of the growth of the energy services industry. He served as a voting member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Guideline 14 Project Committee and participated in the Department of Defense/Department of Energy ESPC Steering Committee's Quality Assurance and Improvement Subcommittee, where he helped develop best practice M&V approaches and standardized plan and reporting formats.
Scott received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MS in Data Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
