Ken Lau

As Manager of Measurement & Verification, Ken has worked for BC Hydro, a crown corporation, since 1994 supporting various demand-side-management initiatives.

His expertise includes instrumentation and metering systems, power factor correction solutions, power quality solutions and electrical distribution systems for commercial and industrial facilities. In Ken’s current role, his responsibilities include the measurement and verification of energy savings resulting from utility incentive projects, technical reviews of DSM program project applications and providing technical expertise and advice to internal and external customers. Ken is a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), a Certified Energy Manager and Professional Engineer registered in the province of British Columbia. He graduated with B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC.
