Jesse Smith
Jesse Smith is an experienced utility analyst and consultant whose work is focused on estimating the impacts and economics of demand side interventions to alter the way homes and businesses use energy and helping clients improve those offerings. He has been involved in the design, and evaluation, measurement and verification (EM&V) of a wide variety of demand response, dynamic pricing, and energy efficiency programs implemented by electric and gas utilities across North America. Prior to founding Demand Side Analytics in 2016, he worked as a load research analyst at GoodCents Solutions and a managing consultant at Nexant. He received a BS in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MS degree in Applied Statistics from Kennesaw State University.
